Mabon 2011 Goodies!
For a nice Mabon incense, try:
- benzoin
- myrrh
- sage
Mabon crystals include:
- lapis lazuli
- yellow agate
- sapphire
Herbs sacred to Mabon include but are not limited to:
- myrrh
- thistle
- sage
- milkweed
- rose
- passionflower
From About.com, make your own Pomegranate Sorbet dessert for Mabon!
- 2 cups of pomegranate juice
- 1/3 cup of orange juice
- 1.3 cup of cranberry juice
- 1/2 teaspoon of Lemon juice
- 1/3 cup of sugar
- 1 orange
- mint leaves
- fresh pomegranate seeds
Mix all that deliciousness together in an airtight container. Freeze for four hours someplace super cold. When it’s solid, take it out and break it up into small chunks. Refreeze it for a few more hours (although you can probably sneak a little taste in between).
Serve in cute little glasses and garner with an orange slice, a mint leaf, and sprinkle with extra pomegranate seeds for a tasty treat.
